The 23^rd Uvumbuzi Bikathon is set for October, 2010 and will see participants cycle from the Carnivore Nairobi all the way to Magadi, a distance of about 110 kms. The theme for this year is “lets share the road” aptly chosen to encourage motorists to share the road with other users (cyclists and pedestrians). Statistics indicate that road carnage is mainly caused by careless, unselfish motorists.

Through this event, Uvumbuzi club expects to raise funds to support community led projects Magadi division. Uvumbuzi is and continues to seek partnerships with stakeholders and sponsors in supporting community-based initiatives in the earmarked Magadi Division, Kajiado District.
